Speed Dating Event at Tewksbury Senior Center

The Tewksbury Senior Center (175 Chandler Street) is hosting a Speed Dating event for seniors (65 and over) at 9am. This fun, relaxed morning of conversation and connection will feature relaxed six-minute “pre-dates” with local, single seniors — no pressure and no awkwardness. Refreshments will be served. Registration is now closed.

Silvertones Concert at Tewksbury Senior Center

The Tewksbury Silvertones is holding its monthly concert, from 7pm to 10pm, at the Tewksbury Senior Center (175 Chandler Street). The band holds concerts on the third Friday of every month, September through June. Come listen and dance to a variety of music, including Waltz, Latin, Jitterbug, Foxtrot, Big Band, Line Dances and more. Doors open at 6pm. Soda and water are available for purchase. Free coffee and tea available all evening with cake served during the second break. Tickets cost $10 per person and can be purchased at the door.

Left-Right-Center Game at Tewksbury Senior Center

The Golden Age Club at the Tewksbury Senior Center (175 Chandler Street) is hosting its monthly Left-Right-Center game. Doors open at 11:45am, lunch is at 12:35pm, and the game starts at 1pm. The cost to play the game, which includes pizza, salad and a dessert lunch, is $5 per person. Players should also bring $3.00 in quarters to place. Advanced sign-up was required and is now closed.

Jammin’ With You at Tewksbury Library

The Tewksbury Public Library (300 Chandler Street) is hosting “Jammin With You,” an interactive music and movement event full of exploration crucial for early literacy skills, at 11am. This event is for children ages 0-2. Sponsored by Community Teamwork Inc’s Family Resource Network. The Family Resource Network is funded by the Coordinated Family and Community Engagement Grant (CFCE) from the Massachusetts Department of Early Education and Care. Learn more & register HERE.

Afternoon Film Screening (“The Housemaid”) at Tewksbury Library

The Tewksbury Public Library (300 Chandler Street) is holding a film screening of The Housemaid” at 2pm. A struggling young woman is relieved by the chance for a fresh start as a maid for a wealthy couple. Soon, she discovers that the family’s secrets are far more dangerous than her own. Starring Sydney Sweeney and Amanda Seyfried. Psychological Thriller. Rated R. 2 Hours, 12 Minutes. Doors will open at 1:30pm. Film will start at 2pm. Candy & water will be served. Weekly Bingo Night at St. Williams Church

St. Williams Church (1351 Main Street) holds a Bingo Night every Friday, beginning at 6:45pm. Players can expect to spend $15-$20 on Bingo sheets. Call 978-640-0859 with any questions or for more information.

Breakfast & Bingo at Bayberry at Emerald Court

Bayberry at Emerald Court (2000 Emerald Court) is holding a Breakfast & Bingo event from 8am to 1am. Start your morning with great food, friendly competition, and plenty of fun! Join us for a delicious breakfast buffet from 8am to 9am, followed by Bingo from 9am to 10am. Each round winner will receive a $10 gift card to Market Basket or Dunkin’ Donuts.

4 Fitness Classes at Tewksbury Senior Center + Scrabble

The Tewksbury Senior Center (175 Chandler Street) is hosting 4 fitness/wellness classes today:

  • Bone Builders (8:15am)
  • Walking Club (8:30am)
  • Bone Builders (9:30am)
  • Scrabble (10am)
  • Meditation (11am)

Most fitness/wellness class fees are paid either by the month OR by purchasing a punch card. Punch card cost is $35 and allows seniors to attend 10 classes of their choice. Cards can be purchased in the Senior Center’s Office. Seniors may drop in to try any of the fitness/wellness classes for FREE. Please note Bone Builders classes and the Cardio Drumming class are grant-funded with no cost to participants but do require registration to participate. Firewater Tavern at Wamesit Lanes (434 Main Street) is offering live music with Tim Buono from 6pm to 9pm.
