Residents can sign up now on new “Recreation Resources” page
The town of Tewksbury is pleased to announce that, in partnership with the Greater Lowell YMCA, youth and adult recreational programming will be offered at the Recreation Center starting in May 2024.

Through the town of Tewksbury, the Greater Lowell YMCA will provide both youth and adult recreation and wellness programs at the Saunders Recreational Facility and Fields, located at 286 Livingston St., beginning next month.
The YMCA will offer a variety of programs including Beginner Soccer and Basketball, Visual Arts, Yoga, and Toddler Play Groups. Residents do not need to be YMCA members to register for these programs. Additionally, residents are given a two-week dedicated registration period before the programs are open to YMCA members, and only if they do not reach capacity following that exclusive registration period. This initial limited offering will have six-week programs from May 6 through June 17 with an anticipated summer camp to be announced later this month.
Registration links are hosted in the newly launched “Recreation Resources” page on the Town website under the YMCA’s subpage at www.tewksbury-ma.gov/recreation. The registration link will redirect to the YMCA’s online portal dedicated to Tewksbury residents. The registration link may be accessed via www.tewksbury-ma.gov/tewksburyymca.
In addition to the YMCA’s dedicated Tewksbury programming portal, the new webpage offers links to various town recreation resources including youth sports and the library. The resources are listed as they have been most recently provided to the town and are not exhaustive as they are updated on an ongoing basis. For organization-specific information, please contact the youth sports groups directly.
