Tewksbury Tennis Open

On the weekend of June 19-21, 2025, the Friends of Tewksbury Tennis hosted the 14th Annual Tewksbury Open.

This year’s event was a great success, offering a weekend full of fun and competitive tennis for all who entered.

Matches were held at the tennis courts on the TMHS campus until rain moved in on Sunday morning, causing the finals to be held indoors at the Woburn Racquet Club, located at 9 Webber Street in Woburn, MA.

This year the Open hosted tournament play for over 90 entries from area communities such as Tewksbury, Andover, Chelmsford, Woburn and communities as far away as  Boston and Hollis, NH.

Play included Men’s Singles and Doubles, Women’s singles and doubles, and Mixed Doubles. Events were offered in both A and B level draws, with many participants battling the heat of the sun playing in multiple draws.

Finals for each category were played on Sunday, June 21, with the exception of the Women’s B Single Final, which was played on Saturday June 28, due to schedule conflicts with one of the match players.
