Tewksbury’s Spring Town Clean Up is Saturday, May 7, 2022. Pick up bags and supplies from town hall starting at 9 a.m. and collect trash on roadways, parks, open spaces and fields until 2 p.m. Even an hour of time helps.
Sign up to clean a specific spot or just show up and help where needed. Clean up day is a great way to earn community service hours.
As part of this spring’s event, paper shredding and electronics recycling will be at the DPW from 9 a.m. to noon for Tewksbury residents; a Tewksbury Pantry donation item is requested for the service. A limit of 5 boxes per resident for shredding.
Recycled electronic items accepted include monitors, computers, hard drives, tablets, smart phones, printers, scanners and media such as tapes and DVDs. Items are free except for televisions, which are $35 cash to the provider.
