Tewksbury Finance Committee Meeting

The Tewksbury Finance Committee meets at 7pm in the first-floor meeting room at Town Hall (1009 Main Street). Read the meeting agenda HERE. The Committee will be reviewing the proposed FY27 budgets for both the Tewksbury Public Schools and Shawsheen Tech. The meeting is open to the public. The meeting will be televised live on Tewksbury Telemedia (Comcast 8 & Verizon 32) and streamed on the Town’s YouTube channel.

Music Bingo At Wamesit Lanes

Wamesit Lanes (434 Main Street) is hosting live Music Bingo at 7pm inside the Firewater Tavern. Enjoy live music, big energy and awesome prizes, with hosts Glitter & Guitars. Learn more HERE.

Tewksbury High School’s Indoor Walking Track Open

The Tewksbury Memorial High School’s indoor walking track is open to the public on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, from 4pm to 7pm, in March.

Adult Paint Night @ Tewksbury Library

The Tewksbury Public Library (300 Chandler Street) is hosting an Adult Paint Night at 6:30pm. Join artist and art teacher Julie Harrold in a step-by-step instructional painting class. Participants will create a “Pot of Gold” painting while learning blending techniques and how to use light and shadow to enhance objects. All supplied provided, including acrylic paint and 11×14 canvas board. Led by Julie Harrold, who holds a BFA in Studio Arts and is former elementary school art director. Tewksbury Job Seekers Networking Group Virtual Meeting

The Tewksbury Public Library (300 Chandler Street) is hosting its bi-weekly meeting of its Tewksbury Job Seekers Networking Group 9:30am 2pm via ZOOM. Virginia Franco, founder of Virginia Franco Resumes, will hold an AMA (“Ask Me Anything”) for job seekers. She welcomes any questions about resumes and LinkedIn writing. Franco is a 5X Certified Resume Writer & LinkedIn Profile Expert (NCRW, NCOPE, MRW, CPRW, CEIP), and board member and Past President of The National Resume Writers’ Association. Library Virtual Lecture: The History Of Carole King

The Tewksbury Public Library (300 Chandler Street) is hosting a webinar — “The History of Carole King” — at 2pm. Explore the amazing story of a young, earnest songwriter whose mix of gently rocking pop, folk and soul music touched and warmed us all. Led by Gary Wenstrup, who has taught courses on the Beatles, Simon & Garfunkel and Motown Records for the Continuing Education Departments of College of DuPage and Oakton (IL) Community College. 8 Fitness Classes At Tewksbury Senior Center

The Tewksbury Senior Center (175 Chandler Street) is hosting 8 fitness/wellness classes today:

  • Forever Fit (9am)
  • Tap Dance (9:45am)
  • Men’s Stretch & Strengthen (10:30am)
  • Light Yoga (11am)
  • Yarnaholics (11:30am)
  • Bone Builders (12:30pm)
  • Ladies Only Billiards (1:30pm-4:30pm)
  • Bone Builders (2pm)
  • Gentle Yoga (3:30pm)
  • Cardio Drumming (4:30pm)

Most fitness/wellness class fees are paid either by the month OR by purchasing a punch card. Punch card cost is $35 and allows seniors to attend 10 classes of their choice. Cards can be purchased in the Senior Center’s Office. Seniors may drop in to try any of the fitness/wellness classes for FREE. Please note Bone Builders classes and the Cardio Drumming class are grant-funded with no cost to participants but do require registration to participate. Call the Senior Center at 978-640-4480 with any questions.

ALSO TODAY AT THE SENIOR CENTER: The Bereavement Support Group will hold its monthly meeting at 10am.
