Tewksbury High School’s Indoor Walking Track Open To Public
The Tewksbury Memorial High School’s indoor walking track is now open to the public on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, from 4pm to 7pm. See the schedule HERE.
Red Cross Blood Drive at Tewksbury Masonic Hall
The American Red Cross is holding a Community Blood Drive from 1:30pm to 7pm at the Masonic Hall (70 Victor Drive). Schedule an appointment by calling 1-800-RED-CROSS or visiting RedCrossBlood.org and entering ‘Tewksbury.”
Free Meditation Class at Tewksbury Public Library
Chris Connolly, RN, BSN, owner of Living My Dream Yoga, is lead a 3-week series of meditation classes this month on Thursdays, from 3:30pm to 4:30pm, at the Tewksbury Public Library (300 Chandler Street). Classes are designed for both those who are new to meditation and regular practitioners. Attendees should bring their own yoga mat, beach towel, blanket or cushion to sit/lay on. Library Virtual Lecture: The Art of Storytelling — What Does The Art On Your Walls Say About You?
The Tewksbury Public Library (300 Chandler Street) is holding an art webinar — “The Art of Storytelling: What Does The Art On Your Walls Say About You?” — at 10:30am on ZOOM. What does the art on your walls say about you? It can mirror who you are, your personal experiences, goals, and values. During this workshop, you’ll learn a 5-step storytelling framework and use it to create a short story for fun or work. Have a piece of art on hand to use as the inspiration for your story. Led by Jackie Davis, a marketing consultant, award-winning interior designer, and masterful storyteller. Library Virtual Lecture: What To Tidy When Company Is On The Way
The Tewksbury Public Library (300 Chandler Street) is holding a de-cluttering webinar — “What To Tidy When Company Is On The Way” — at 7pm on ZOOM. Company on the way? Need to get organized but don’t have a lot of time? Learn what visitors notice first about your home. Discover how to make the most of your tidying efforts with what to focus on and what to leave for later. Preschool Playgroup at Tewksbury Public Library
Community Teamwork hosts a Preschool Playgroup every Thursday morning at 11am at the Tewksbury Public Library (300 Chandler Street). Kids can meet, play, and learn, while picking up some literacy skills. Free and open to all preschoolers.
8 Fitness Classes at Tewksbury Senior Center
The Tewksbury Senior Center (175 Chandler Street) is hosting 8 fitness/wellness classes today:
- Belly Dancing (9:30am)
- Wii Bowling League (9:30am)
- Body Works (10:25am)
- Fit For All (11:15am)
- Light Yoga for Seniors (12:30pm)
- Bone Builders (2pm)
- Chair Yoga (3:30pm)
- Cardio Drumming (4:30pm)
Most fitness/wellness class fees are paid either by the month OR by purchasing a punch card. Punch card cost is $35 and allows seniors to attend 10 classes of their choice. Cards can be purchased in the Senior Center’s Office. Seniors may drop in to try any of the fitness/wellness classes for FREE. Please note Bone Builders classes and the Cardio Drumming class are grant-funded with no cost to participants but do require registration to participate. Call the Senior Center at 978-640-4480 with any questions.

Public Health Museum Tours
The Public Health Museum, located on the grounds of the Tewksbury Hospital (365 East Steet), is open from 10am to 2pm. A hospital campus walking tour will take place at 10:30am. Tours of the museum are also scheduled for 10:30am and 12:30pm. Register for any of the tours HERE. The Museum is a non-profit educational and cultural museum, with a mission to strive to preserve records and artifacts from America’s public health history; educate the public about the achievements and contributions of public health; and inspire people to build upon the past and continue to advance the future of public health.
REMINDER: Tewksbury Restaurant Week (November 30-December 7)
The Town of Tewksbury has launched a social media campaign to highlight restaurants in Town starting Saturday, November 30 and running through Saturday, December 7. Many of the restaurants are offering specials to customers. See the list of participating restaurants and deals HERE.
