The rain mostly held off for the Tewksbury Garden Club plant sale on Saturday. Organizers thanked Bob Baden and Grow Greenhouses for organic, locally grown vegetables, herbs and flowers. Leftover plants were donated to the Manchester MSPCA to support their efforts, said TGC’s Debbie Takach Adams.
As we head toward the unofficial start of summer, if you see a poster with the logo “No I.D., No Service, No Exceptions,” that’s a reminder from TPD Chief Ryan Columbus, who says all licensed liquor retailers in the community have been notified of upcoming random compliance checks.
The Library, Senior Center and town offices are closed Saturday through Monday, but planning is underway for the June 14 last-day-of-school summer kickoff at Livingston, featuring the opening of the splash pad. Here’s what else is going on this week.
