DEADLINE TODAY: Plant A Tree Tewksbury Program
The Town of Tewksbury would like to notify residents of a cooperative tree planting program with National Grid that will take place this Spring. The goal is to plant at least 10 street trees along the Town’s right-of-way. Before planting commences, the Town is reaching out to residents to identify those who are interested in having a tree planted along the street in front of their home. The Town will determine if the location is suitable for planting and provide a choice of appropriate species that will not interfere with overhead wires. If you are interested in securing a street tree or would like more information on the program, please contact the Department of Public Works (DPW) at (978) 640-4440. Due to the necessary lead-time, we ask that interested residents contact the DPW no later than April 10, 2026. Supply is limited; therefore, this is a first come first serve opportunity.
