DEADLINE: Final Day To Donate To Bruins Pajama Drive At Library

Cradles to Crayons and The Boston Bruins are hosting a donation drive for children living with clothing insecurity. The Tewksbury Public Library (300 Chandler Street) is collecting brand new pajamas in all sizes, including adult. All pajama donations should be appropriate for all seasons and void of any family or holiday references. The most needed sizes for this season are 12-18 months, 18-24 months, and 18/20 (both boys and girls sizes). Bring your donations to the box outside the Library’s Children’s Room through March 13, 2026.

Reading With Chickens at Tewksbury Library

The Tewksbury Public Library (300 Chandler Street) is hosting Land’s Sake Farm for a “Reading with Chickens” event at 3:30pm. Get up close and personal with chickens! This program includes a chicken-themed story and educational games about chicken behavior and anatomy. The highlight of the program is the Chicken Circle, where you are able to touch and interact with live chickens. This event is for children PreK through Grade 3. Learn more & register HERE.

Afternoon Film Screening (“Song Sung Blue”) at Tewksbury Library

The Tewksbury Public Library (300 Chandler Street) is holding a film screening of “Song Sung Blue” at 2pm. Lightning and Thunder, a Milwaukee husband and wife Neil Diamond tribute act, experience soaring success and devastating heartbreak in their musical journey together. Starring Hugh Jackman and Kate Hudson. Drama. Rated PG-13. 2 Hours, 12 Minutes. Doors will open at 1:30pm. Film will start at 2pm. Candy & water will be served. Library Virtual Lecture: All About America’s Third President — Thomas Jefferson

The Tewksbury Public Library (300 Chandler Street) is holding a webinar — “AAll About America’s Third President — Thomas Jefferson” — at 10:30am on ZOOM. Join author and illustrator Heather Rogers — America’s Preeminent Presidential Doodler — for a lecture on the country’s third president — Thomas Jefferson. He was a redhead, invented the swivel chair, and was bizarrely obsessed with proving that America’s mammals were bigger than Europe’s mammals. Don’t you want to know more? Weekly Bingo Night at St. Williams Church

4 Fitness Classes at Tewksbury Senior Center + Scrabble

The Tewksbury Senior Center (175 Chandler Street) is hosting 4 fitness/wellness classes today:

  • Bone Builders (8:15am)
  • Walking Club (8:30am)
  • Bone Builders (9:30am)
  • Scrabble (10am)
  • Meditation (11am)

Most fitness/wellness class fees are paid either by the month OR by purchasing a punch card. Punch card cost is $35 and allows seniors to attend 10 classes of their choice. Cards can be purchased in the Senior Center’s Office. Seniors may drop in to try any of the fitness/wellness classes for FREE. Please note Bone Builders classes and the Cardio Drumming class are grant-funded with no cost to participants but do require registration to participate. Call the Senior Center at 978-640-4480 with any questions.

ALSO TODAY AT THE SENIOR CENTER: The Friends of the Elderly will be holding Trivia & Tunes from 1pm to 3pm. Registration is required. … The Grandparents Support Group is holding its monthly meeting at 10am.
