The Garden Club is welcoming any new members for the ’25 – ’26 year!
The Tewksbury Garden Club will begin its new year on Wednesday, September 10 and we’re hoping that you’ll join us. The club welcomes members from Tewksbury as well as neighboring communities. Our mission is focused on civic responsibilities that includes work with children, elders, town beautification and ecologic attention.
Our meetings last 2 hours and include a business portion and an educational or craft session. Our programs for this ’25 – ’26 year include The Bumblebee Project, Winter Seed Sowing and Pruning Basics, among others.
We’ll also be preparing for another Art in Bloom event, in conjunction with the Tewksbury Public Library. There is an expectation that all active members will join in maintenance of several town gardens and participate in committee work. The work isn’t hard, and the committee work has something that can appeal to all. We provide scholarships and promote Arbor Day. To support our ventures, we engage in fundraising. The November program is a fun filled evening of floral design and raffles. Our Plant Sale in May has many loyal customers.
Come to a meeting to see what we’re about or check us out on our website: tewksburygardenclub.com to get a feel for the club and to find our membership information.
