“Welcome to Tewksbury” Reception for New Residents

On October 14th, new residents in town are invited to join the “Welcome to Tewksbury” Reception!

TEWKSBURY, MA — Have you moved to town in the past two years? Are you interested in learning more about what Tewksbury has to offer? You are invited to the 6th Annual “Welcome To Tewksbury” Reception on Tuesday, October 14, from 6pm to 7:30pm, held at the Tewksbury Senior Center (175 Chandler Street).

New residents are encouraged to drop in anytime during the 90-minute reception to:

• Meet representatives from town government, schools, businesses, and community non-profits.
• Learn about their services, programs, and volunteer opportunities.
• Enjoy conversation with other residents who are new to Tewksbury.
• Pick up a FREE Welcome Bag filled with information, coupons & gift items from Chamber businesses. (1 per household.)
• Purchase meals and snacks from food trucks on site.

Confirmed participating organizations include: Tewksbury Department of Public Works, Tewksbury Fire Department, Tewksbury Health Department, Tewksbury Planning & Conversation Department, Tewksbury Police Department, Tewksbury Public Library, Tewksbury Public Schools, Tewksbury Senior Center, Tewksbury Telemedia, Tewksbury Town Clerk, Tewksbury Veterans Services Office, Tewksbury Beautification Committee, Tewksbury Open Space & Recreation Committee, Friends of the Tewksbury Library, Monarch Ranch, Northeast Christian Church, Public Health Museum, Strongwater Farm, Tewksbury Congregational Church, Tewksbury Garden Club, Tewksbury Girl Scouts, Tewksbury Historical Society, Tewksbury Together, Tewksbury-Wilmington Elks, and Wilmington-Tewksbury Chamber of Commerce.

While the event is geared towards new residents, any resident who feels they would benefit from attending is welcome.

This family-friendly event is sponsored by the Wilmington-Tewksbury Chamber of Commerce and the Tewksbury Public Library. The event is hosted at the Tewksbury Senior Center.
