Authority says good-bye to Chairperson Ryan Lloyd
The most recent meeting of the THA was held on Monday, March 10th, 2025 at the offices located at Saunders Circle.
Executive DirectorMelissa Maniscalco notified the authority of the current vacant units. Both Delaney Drive and Carnation Drive will have new tenants arriving by the end of the month. It takes approximately one month to complete the repairs and prepare a unit for new occupants. The bathroom renovations at Pondview are still ongoing, with two units still needing the finishing touches.
An amendment of $28K to the Contractual Financial Assistance, Age in Place Grant, has been approved through FY28. “Aging in Place” refers to the concept of older adults remaining in their homes and communities as they age, rather than moving to assisted living or nursing homes. It involves making necessary modifications and providing services to support independent living.
At the conclusion of the meeting, Chairperson Ryan Lloyd reflected on his time with the authority, including his past year as Chair. He expressed heartfelt “gratitude for the opportunity of being a part of the Tewksbury Housing Authority,” highlighting how he “gained invaluable experience and truly appreciated the support, guidance and professional growth received during his tenure.” Ryan has decided to step down from the THA as he is currently campaigning to join the Tewksbury Select Board.
The next meeting will be on April 14th, 2025.
