Free Program Open to High School Students Interested in Public Health

Applications are due by June 14; students my attend fully virtually or two days on site

The Public Health Museum in Massachusetts has opened registration for Outbreak! 2024. The program, celebrating its twelfth year, is designed for all students in grades 10-12 who are interested in careers in public health. Students will explore a variety of areas, from managing job safety to responding to emergency situations.

Presented by public health professionals from the greater Boston area, the program’s online format means it is available to students nationwide. There is also an option to attend two days of presentations at the Public Health Museum in Tewksbury.

The 2024 program runs from Monday, July 22 to Friday, July 26, with in-person days Monday and Tuesday. The program is free thanks to sponsors the Greater Worcester Community Foundation and The Public Health Museum.

See the flyer, below, for more information. The application form is available here; applications are due by June 14. If you have questions you can email the museum at outbreak@publichealthmuseum.org.
