IRCC Announces ‘Seasons’ Spring Concert Featuring Local Singers

Wilmington, Lowell, Tewksbury and other area towns have members in this chorus

Please join the Ipswich River Community Chorus as we take you on a musical journey through the seasons of life. 

The chorus, proudly led by Musical Director Katherine B. Foley, presents its 2024 Spring concert, “SEASONS,” at the Union Congregational Church, 148 Haverhill Street, North Reading. The concert will be held on Saturday, April 27 at 7:30 p.m. and on Sunday, April 28 at 4:00 p.m. More than 70 singers will be performing traditional and contemporary pieces accompanied by pianist Miles Goldberg and a number of local musicians.

Selections include “In My Life,” “Turn, Turn, Turn,” “Here Comes the Sun”, “Seasons of Love,” “Spring Carol,” “What a Wonderful World” and many more! The IRCC children’s choir will also be performing a few fun pieces. 

IRCC, formerly known as the North Reading Community Chorale, is a nonprofit organization based in North Reading. Tickets are $20 for adults, $15 for ages 6-18 and children 5 and under are admitted free. Tickets are available through Ticketleap.com or through our website. A limited number of tickets will be available at the door.

Also at this event, the chorus will be awarding its Nancy Ferretti/Ipswich River Community Chorus Scholarship to two graduating high school seniors selected from North Reading and other surrounding towns. It will be given to two students who have demonstrated excellence in the performing arts, and who plan to continue studying music and performance in college. 

This concert is supported by the Massachusetts Cultural Council, with additional support from the North Reading, Wilmington, Tewksbury and Reading Local Cultural Councils.
