Tickets are now on sale for a Tewksbury Police vs. TMHS Boys/Girls Varsity basketball game, with proceeds to benefit the Meghan McCarthy Research Fund at Dana-Farber. The cost is $5 at the door, with free admission for TBBL/TGBL players under 12 when they wear their jerseys and are accompanied by an adult. Learn more and donate here.
Middlesex Sheriff Peter J. Koutoujian is pleased to announce registration for the 2024 Youth Public Safety Academy (YPSA) is now open. Now in its 24th year, YPSA is an educational and affordable summer program that is open to all children ages 8-12 living in Middlesex County. Older children have the opportunity to become a Counselor-in-Training. The program consists of five, one-week camps and is held at the Middlesex Sheriff’s Office Training Academy in Chelmsford. The week of Aug. 5 – 9 hosts kids from Chelmsford, Lowell, Tewksbury and Wilmington.
Registration for each week is $100 per child and includes transportation to and from designated bus stops, daily breakfast and lunch and a graduation ceremony held each Friday.

There will be no activities at the Senior Center Monday or Tuesday, which is Presidential Primary Day. Tuesday is also the last day for anyone who qualified for the Town Election ballot to withdraw and not have their name appear.

Science Squared Discussion Group

Kevin from KevTech Services is back to help Apple users get the most from their devices. Technology classes are free to participants thanks to a Massachusetts State Grant award. Today’s program is Finding Music in Spotify. In this class, Kevin will explore different sections of the Spotify app and demonstrate how to find music from specific artists and organize favorite songs and albums into personal playlists.
Teen Movie: The Marvels (Grades 6-12)

TPL 300 Chandler 25th Anniversary

March 8, 2024 marks the 25th anniversary of TPL’s grand opening at 300 Chandler St. Drop in for stickers, flyers, and book lists, and watch social media throughout the month of March for a timeline and photo series of the construction of the building. As the building opened in 1999, the theme of the celebration is Y2K. Longtime residents will remember that our library used to be in the building now used for Town Hall Annex.
Also note that two new, more secure, donation boxes are in place that should be safer from theft.
