Survey should take less than 5 minutes to complete and will ask residents to rate six possible locations
The Town of Tewksbury launched a survey to solicit input from residents regarding the location for the proposed zoning overlay district, toward the Town’s compliance with M.G.L. 40A, Section 3A, better known as “MBTA Communities” zoning.
This law requires MBTA adjacent communities to zone up to 15 units per acre by right for a minimum of 50 acres in the community, 25 of which must be contiguous. Learn more.
This survey will be open for approximately one month, after which time the Community Development Department will host subsequent virtual and in-person meetings to discuss the findings and to reach a consensus for an appropriate location for the overlay district. There are six proposed locations across various areas of Town. Residents are asked to answer some demographic questions before ranking the proposed locations for the overlay district.
The survey should take less than 5 minutes to complete.

The survey will be available through July 28. For questions about this project, or if you need a paper copy of the survey, please contact Alexandra Lowder, Community/Economic Development Planner, at ALowder@tewksbury-ma.gov or (978) 640-4370 Ext. 248.
