Been waiting for mac & cheese or want to become a barista? This week’s your chance
Pushcart plans to reopen its expanded restaurant and smoothie bar on Wednesday, according to owner Tracy Holden.
In the past months the restaurant more than tripled its square footage by adding an additional 3,000 s.f in a newly renovated space next door to the original site at 1777 Main St. There will be a new kitchen , a dedicated sandwich prep area, an office, more storage, 42 additional seats for dining in and a long serving counter for takeout orders that can be placed through The Pushcart’s website.
The existing space has been renovated to feature a smoothie bar. Stop in and check it out!
Meanwhile, La Vita Dolce is hiring pastry chefs, line cooks, baristas, bar staff and counter help. Interviews will be held on a drop-in basis on Friday. The eagerly awaited bakery, deli and café that local businessman Todd Arsenault is opening in the former Santander Bank at 1866 Main St. expects to open on March 4, offering breakfast, lunch and coffee and pastries. We’ll be in line for rum cake.
