Ever wanted to wander the Stone Zoo without crowds, and with a beer and snacks? Then you’re in luck.
The Wilmington/Tewksbury Chamber has partnered with 10 other area Chambers of Commerce to give members — and non-members with an interest in animals and/or networking — the run of Stoneham’s Stone Zoo at a private event on Wednesday, Oct. 6, from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m.
Attendees can wend their way through the exhibits and meet other area professionals while sampling food and beer from Mighty Squirrel Brewing Co.
The cost is $20 for members and $30 for non-members. This is a 21+ event, and chamber director Nancy Vallee advises attendees to bring an ID if they wish to sample some beer.
