Seth Moulton to Attend Legislative Update Breakfast Sponsored by Local Chambers

Congressman Seth Moulton will attend a Legislative Update breakfast buffet sponsored by the Wakefield/Lynnfield and Wilmington/Tewksbury Chambers of Commerce. The event will be held on Tuesday, Sept. 14 at the Four Points Sheraton in Wakefield, beginning at 7:30 a.m.

The cost is $30 for Chamber members and $45 for nonmembers. Those interested can register now.

Moulton, who joined the Marines in 2001 and served four tours in Iraq, has represented the 6th District of Massachusetts since 2015. He has recently been in the news for a stealth visit he made with fellow veteran Peter Meijer (R-MI) to Kabul, Afghanistan. The stated aim was to conduct oversight on the mission to evacuate Americans and our allies.

His office has issued guidance for those seeking to help Afghan nationals evacuate the country.

Moulton’s expansive district covers both Essex and Middlesex counties and includes Bedford, Billerica, Burlington, North Reading, Reading, Tewksbury, Wakefield and Wilmington.

“Opportunities such as this, where we connect our local business owners to their representatives at all levels, is just one of the many benefits of being a member of the Wilmington/Tewksbury Chamber of Commerce,” says executive director Nancy Vallee. “Business owners’ opinions, challenges and needs are important, and their voices should be heard.”
