Red Cross Blood Drive at Tewksbury Hospital

The Red Cross is holding a Blood Drive at the Tewksbury Hospital (365 East Street) from 10am to 3pm. Interested donors can call 1-800-RED CROSS (1-800-733-2767) to book an appointment. Donors can also visit http://www.redcross.org to schedule an appointment.

Weekly Car Show In Papa Gino’s Parking Lot

Members of the former Merrimack Valley Car Club organize an Antique Car Show on Friday nights, from 4pm to dark, in the Ocean State Job Lot/Papa Gino’s plaza parking lot (553 Main St.).

Shawsheen Tech Drama Club Presents Shrek The Musical Jr.

The Shawsheen Tech Drama Club presents “Shrek The Musical Jr.” this Thursday and Friday at 6pm inside the School’s Auditorium (100 Cook Street, Billerica). Tickets are available at the door — $15 for adults and $10 for students.

Land’s Sake Farms: Reading with Worms at Tewksbury Library

The Tewksbury Public Library (300 Chandler Street) is holding a “Reading with Worms” event with Land’s Sake Farms for children (PreK-Grade 3) at 3:30pm. Learn about our soil helping friends! This program features a worm-themed story, a dirt making activity in which we learn about composting and soil composition, and the chance to play with real live worms from the farm’s vermi-composter. Sponsored by Community Teamwork Inc’s Family Resource Network. The Family Resource Network is funded by the Coordinated Family and Community Engagement Grant (CFCE) from the Massachusetts Department of Early Education and Care. Learn more & register HERE.

Weekly Bingo Night @ St. Williams Church

St. Williams Church (1351 Main Street) holds a Bingo Night every Friday, beginning at 6:45pm. Players can expect to spend $15-$20 on Bingo sheets. Call 978-640-0859 with any questions or for more information.

Yugioh Tournament @ Batter Up

Batter Up (1830 Main Street) is holding its weekly Yugioh Genesys Tournament from 6:30pm to 10pm. $5 entry fee. Learn more HERE.

4 Fitness Classes at Tewksbury Senior Center + Scrabble

The Tewksbury Senior Center (175 Chandler Street) is hosting 4 fitness/wellness classes today:

  • Bone Builders (8:15am)
  • Walking Club (8:30am)
  • Bone Builders (9:30am)
  • Scrabble (10am)
  • Meditation (11am)

Most fitness/wellness class fees are paid either by the month OR by purchasing a punch card. Punch card cost is $35 and allows seniors to attend 10 classes of their choice. Cards can be purchased in the Senior Center’s Office. Seniors may drop in to try any of the fitness/wellness classes for FREE. Please note Bone Builders classes and the Cardio Drumming class are grant-funded with no cost to participants but do require registration to participate. TMHS Sports: Baseball & Softball Teams In Action

The Tewksbury High Varsity Baseball Team will be in tournament action in Haverhill, tentatively at 4pm. The Tewksbury High Varsity Softball Team hosts Lynnfield High at 6pm at Livingston Street Fields.
