Tewksbury High School Scholarship Night

Tewksbury Memorial High School is holding its annual Scholarship & Awards Night at 6:30pm. This is an invite-only event, but is streamed on Tewksbury Telemedia’s YouTube channel.

Tewksbury Special Education PAC’s Sensory Swap

Do you have therapy, sensory, and adaptive items that your child has outgrown or no longer uses and would like to pass them along to another special needs family? Are you looking for new items to try out? Start cleaning out those closets and toyboxes! The Tewksbury SEPAC’s Sensory Swap takes place at 7pm in the Center School’s Music Room.

Shawsheen Tech Drama Club Presents Shrek The Musical Jr.

The Shawsheen Tech Drama Club presents “Shrek The Musical Jr.” this Thursday and Friday at 6pm inside the School’s Auditorium (100 Cook Street, Billerica). Tickets are available at the door — $15 for adults and $10 for students.

Library Virtual Lecture: Virtual Tour Of The Museum Of Modern Art

The Tewksbury Public Library (300 Chandler Street) is holding an art webinar — “Virtual Tour Of The Museum Of Modern Art” — at 2pm on ZOOM. The Museum of Modern Art, located in midtown Manhattan, is one of the most influential art museums in the world. Discover its fascinating origins, founded through the vision and determination of Abigail A. Rockefeller, and see how the Rockefeller family shaped the modern art world today. Visit some of the most famous and spectacular masterpieces by Monet, Picasso, Van Gogh, and Matisse. Library Virtual Lecture: Armchair Travel To Quebec City

The Tewksbury Public Library (300 Chandler Street) is holding an armchair travel webinar — “Armchair Travel To Quebec City” — at 7pm on ZOOM. Explore Quebec through the lens of its two iconic cities — historic Quebec City and dynamic Montreal — highlighting their distinct character and shared cultural roots. Examine Quebec’s deeply intertwined history with the United States, from colonial rivalries to trade, migration, and modern cross-border connections. Preschool Playgroup at Tewksbury Library

Community Teamwork hosts a Preschool Playgroup every Thursday morning at 11am at the Tewksbury Public Library (300 Chandler Street). Kids can meet, play, and learn, while picking up some literacy skills. Free and open to all preschoolers.

Pokémon Club at Tewksbury Library

The Tewksbury Public Library (300 Chandler Street) is hosting a meeting of its Pokemon Club at 2pm. Want to learn how to play? Already a seasoned battler? Just a Pokémon fan in general? No matter your level or interest, there is a place for you here! The Club is for children in Kindergarten through Grade 5. No registration is required. Learn more HERE.

Public Health Museum Tours

The Public Health Museum, located on the grounds of the Tewksbury Hospital (365 East Steet), is open from 10am to 2pm. A hospital campus walking tour will take place at 10:30am. Tours of the museum are also scheduled for 10:30am and 12:30pm. Register for any of the tours HERE. The Museum is a non-profit educational and cultural museum, with a mission to strive to preserve records and artifacts from America’s public health history; educate the public about the achievements and contributions of public health; and inspire people to build upon the past and continue to advance the future of public health.

Karaoke with DJ Manny at TJ Callahan’s Pub

TJ Callahan’s Pub (1475 Main Street) hosts Karaoke with DJ Manny every Thursday night from 8pm to midnight.

Sea Glass Craft Class at TJ Callahan’s Pub

TJ Callahan’s Pub (1475 Main Street) is hosting The Art Lab & Gallery for a Sea Glass craft class from 7pm to 9pm. You will be provided with a prepped window, sea shells, sand, colored glass, and more. Purchase your ticket HERE.

8 Fitness Classes at Tewksbury Senior Center

The Tewksbury Senior Center (175 Chandler Street) is hosting 8 fitness/wellness classes today:

  • Blood Pressure Checks (9am-10:30am)
  • Belly Dancing (9:30am)
  • Wii Bowling League (9:30am)
  • Piecemakers Quilters (10am)
  • Body Works (10:25am)
  • Fit For All (11:25am)
  • Light Yoga for Seniors (12:30pm)
  • Whist (12:30pm)
  • Bone Builders (2pm)
  • Chair Yoga (3:30pm)
  • Cardio Drumming (4:30pm)

Most fitness/wellness class fees are paid either by the month OR by purchasing a punch card. Punch card cost is $35 and allows seniors to attend 10 classes of their choice. Cards can be purchased in the Senior Center’s Office. Seniors may drop in to try any of the fitness/wellness classes for FREE. Please note Bone Builders classes and the Cardio Drumming class are grant-funded with no cost to participants but do require registration to participate. Call the Senior Center at 978-640-4480 with any questions.
