Art in Bloom @ Tewksbury Library

The Tewksbury Public Library (300 Chandler Street) and the Tewksbury Garden Club is hosting Art in Bloom on Saturday, April 25, 2026, from 9am to 4pm, and Sunday, April 26, 2026, from 1pm to 4pm. Spend your weekend exploring the library as it transforms into a vibrant landscape of flowers and greenery! Tewksbury Garden Club members will display original floral interpretations of artwork and books provided by local artists, including Tewksbury Memorial High School and Shawsheen Tech students, Tewksbury Piecemakers Quilting Guild, Tewksbury Historical Society, and Tewksbury Public Library as interpreted and designed by Tewksbury Garden Club members. This event is free and open to all ages. No registration is required to attend. Sponsored by the Massachusetts Cultural Council.

Friends of the Library Annual Meeting @ Tewksbury Library

Join the Friends of the Tewksbury Public Library for their annual meeting at 10:30am in the Meeting Room at the Tewksbury Library (300 Chandler Street). Interested in learning more about the volunteer and fundraising efforts of the Friends? This is a great time to join and learn more about their work and support of TPL events for all ages. Stop by for refreshments, to meet fellow members of the Friends, and to learn more about upcoming volunteer opportunities. Everyone is welcome to attend the annual meeting.

Forensic Science Roadshow @ Tewksbury Library

The Tewksbury Public Library (300 Chandler Street) is hosting a Forensic Science Roadshow at 2pm in the Library’s first-floor Meeting Room. Venture into the world of CSI with this interactive program that introduces you to the fascinating subject of forensic science. Subjects include: Massachusetts State Police Crime Laboratory: Functions of Forensic Scientists; Blood; DNA; Fingerprints; Gunshot residue; Footwear Impressions; Metal detector; and Crime Light. Led by Paul Zambella, a retired Forensic Scientist from the Massachusetts State Police Crime Laboratory for 36 years. Learn more & register HERE.

Pokémon & Yuigioh Meet Ups @ Batter Up

Batter Up (1830 Main Street) is holding its weekly Pokemon League Meet from 11am to 1pm and Yugioh Genesys Tournament from 2pm to 5pm ($5 entry fee). Learn more HERE.

Public Health Museum Tours

The Public Health Museum, located on the grounds of the Tewksbury Hospital (365 East Steet), is open from 10am to 2pm. A hospital campus walking tour will take place at 10:30am. Tours of the museum are also scheduled for 11:30am. Register for any of the tours HERE. The Museum is a non-profit educational and cultural museum, with a mission to strive to preserve records and artifacts from America’s public health history; educate the public about the achievements and contributions of public health; and inspire people to build upon the past and continue to advance the future of public health.

Lowell Five Customer Shred Day

Lowell Five (1775 Main Street) is holding a Customer Shred Day at 2pm. One of the safest ways to protect yourself from identity theft is to thoroughly shred any documents that may reveal personally identifiable/confidential information. Documents will be destroyed on the spot in a mobile shredding truck. Bring your files, bank records, medical bills, or any other paper documents that you would like to dispose of in a secure manner. There is a limit of 5 standard-size copy paper boxes per person.

Creative DIY Upcycle Challenge

Indigo Whimsy (1215 Main Street) is holding a Creative DIY Upcycle Challenge from 6pm to 9pm. Are you someone who sees new potential in old things? Are you ready to wield a glue gun? Can you create under (fun, playful, supportive) “pressure?” For this Upcycle Challenge, participants will receive identical mystery decor items, as well as a bag of random materials. We’ll have a table full of shared goodies, tools, glue, paint, and everything they need to turn their discarded item into something else entirely. Participants are also welcome to bring their own embellishments – beads, wire, fabric, etc., to help create their vision. This event is 21+. BYOB. Tickets cost $35. Learn more HERE.

Live Music @ TJ Callahan’s Pub

TJ Callahan’s Pub (1475 Main Street) is offering live music from acoustic rock band Time Bomb at 9pm.

TMHS Sports: Baseball In Action

The Tewksbury High Baseball Team has a game scheduled against Nauset Regional at Strong Field at 1pm.
