Tewksbury Select Board Meeting
The Tewksbury Select Board is holding a meeting at 7pm in the Main Hall at Tewksbury Town Hall (1009 Main Street). The Select Board will receive an update on the MBTA Communities Act, as well as hold a public hearing for a common victulaer license request for a new restaurant, Boston Qahwah, at 1555 Main Street. Tewksbury Council On Aging Meeting

Tewksbury School Committee’s Policy Subcommittee Meeting

Tewksbury Board Of Assessors Meeting

Weekly Bingo Night at Tewksbury-Wilmington Elks Lodge
The Tewksbury-Wilmington Elks holds a Bingo Night every Tuesday night at its Lodge (777 South Street). The Bingo is open to all — not just Elks members. Doors open at 4pm. Game sheet sales begin at 5:45pm. Game begins at 6:45pm. Players may bring snacks. Dinner items (often pizza) is also available to purchase. Coffee, tea and water are free of charge. Weekly Bingo Afternoon at Tewksbury Senior Center
The Tewksbury Senior Center (175 Chandler Street) holds Bingo every Tuesday afternoon. Players should arrive between 11:30am and 12:20pm, during which time game sheets are available. Bingo begins at 12:45pm. Players may bring a lunch or snacks. The event is run by volunteers with the Golden Age Club.

The Tewksbury Veteran’s Services Department holds a free coffee social every Tuesday at 10am, typically at the Tewksbury Senior Center (175 Chandler Street) in its library/media room. No registration is necessary.
One-Woman Play: Helen Keller, Champion Of The Disabled at Tewksbury Public Library
The Tewksbury Public Library (300 Chandler Street) is holding a one-woman play — “Helen Keller, Champion Of The Disabled” at 6:30pm its first-floor Meeting Room. Actress Sheryl Faye will perform her one-woman show, “Helen Keller: Champion of the Disabled.” The show is written from Helen’s mind eye. The story is told on a taped voice over as Helen reenacts her full life from her childhood through her discovery of language when she was seven years old to the writing of her twelve books. She will show the audience how she speaks and reads in Braille, and her story continues through her graduation from college. This unique, special performance will help us to understand and accept the different ways people do the same things and inspire us to be the best we can be with the talents we possess. Register and learn more HERE.
Library Virtual Lecture: The Life & Music Of Julie Andrews
The Tewksbury Public Library (300 Chandler Street) is holding a webinar — “The Life & Music Of Julie Andrews” at 7pm on ZOOM. Explore the life and music of Julia Andrews, one of the theater’s most beloved performers, with particular attention paid to her time on Broadway in My Fair Lady, Camelot, Victor/Victoria, and more. Led by Clint Edwards, a New York-based composer, arranger, and pianist, who lectures on the history of music. Learn more and register HERE.
Barks & Books at Tewksbury Library
The Tewksbury Public Library (300 Chandler Street) is hosting its weekly Barks & Books with service dog Benny from 4:30pm to 5:30pm in the Activities Room. Children (especially those struggling with reading) are invited to sign up for a one-on-one, 15-minute session to read to Benny. Bring your own book or borrow one from the library. This is a great way for children to build literacy confidence and fluency with a non-judgmental canine reading partner. Register HERE.
Arts & Crafts + Exercise Classes At Tewksbury Senior Center
The Tewksbury Senior Center (175 Chandler Street) is hosting several arts & crafts and exercise classes today:
- Bone Building (8:15am)
- Healthy Living Weight Loss Support (8:45am)
- Wood Carving (9:30am)
- Piecemakers Quilters for Charity (11am)
- Bingo (12:45pm)
- Independent Painting (1pm)
- Fit For All (4:30pm)
Most fitness/wellness class fees are paid either by the month OR by purchasing a punch card. Punch card cost is $35 and allows seniors to attend 10 classes of their choice. Cards can be purchased in the Senior Center’s Office. Seniors may drop in to try any of the fitness/wellness classes for FREE. Please note Bone Builders classes and the Cardio Drumming class are grant-funded with no cost to participants but do require registration to participate. Taco Tuesdays at Oscar’s Pinatas
Oscar’s Pinatas (346 Main Street) is holding its weekly Taco Tuesday special. Customers can enjoy 99 cent tacos. Dine-in only. The restaurant also offers free karaoke every night from 9pm to 12:45am.
TMHS Sports: Girls Lacrosse In Action
The Tewksbury High Girls Varsity Girls Lacrosse Team hosts Wakefield at Doucette Stadium at 11am. The JV team plays afterwards at 12:30pm.
