Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day @ TJ Callahan’s Pub
TJ Callahan’s Pub (1475 Main Street) is offering live music from musician Steve Deluca from 3pm to 7pm, plus Irish dancers. A St. Patrick’s Day-themed menu, including corned beef and cabbage, will be available.
Weekly Bingo Night at Tewksbury-Wilmington Elks Lodge
The Tewksbury-Wilmington Elks holds a Bingo Night every Tuesday night at its Lodge (777 South Street). The Bingo is open to all — not just Elks members. Doors open at 4pm. Game sheet sales begin at 5:45pm. Game begins at 6:45pm. Players may bring snacks. Dinner items (often pizza) is also available to purchase. Coffee, tea and water are free of charge. Weekly Bingo Afternoon at Tewksbury Senior Center
The Tewksbury Senior Center (175 Chandler Street) holds Bingo every Tuesday afternoon. Players should arrive between 11:30am and 12:20pm, during which time game sheets are available. Bingo begins at 12:45pm. Players may bring a lunch or snacks. The event is run by volunteers with the Golden Age Club.
State Rep. Tram Nguyen’s Virtual Office Hours

The Tewksbury Board of Assessors meets at 2pm in the Conference Room at the Town Hall Annex (1009 Main Street). Read the agenda HERE. The meeting is open to the public, except for the Executive Session portion.
Weekly Veterans Coffee Social At Tewksbury Senior Center
The Tewksbury Veteran’s Services Department holds a free coffee social every Tuesday at 10am, typically at the Tewksbury Senior Center (175 Chandler Street) in its library/media room. No registration is necessary.
Needle Felting Workshop at Tewksbury Public Library
The Tewksbury Public Library (300 Chandler Street) is holding a Needle Felting Workshop at 6:30pm its first-floor Meeting Room. In this delightful hands-on experience, you will embark on a journey of sculpting and shaping vibrant succulents using the intricate art of needle felting. You will create your very own lifelike mini succulent masterpiece which requires no watering! A mini clay pot provides a charming vessel for your completed creation. All supplies provided. Library Virtual Lecture: The Little Gems Of Ireland
The Tewksbury Public Library (300 Chandler Street) is holding a webinar — “The Little Gems of Ireland” — at 2pm via ZOOM. Ireland is so much more than shamrocks, pipers and the Blarney Stone. Follow our trail as we visit the sites of Dublin, paying special attention to the National Gallery of Ireland to check out their Caravaggio and Vermeer. Then off to Trinity College to take in the Book of Kells. The Ring of Kerry, the Cliffs of Moher and all those castles with enchanting names like Kylemore, Clifden and Dromoland are calling to us. The Tewksbury Public Library (300 Chandler Street) is holding a webinar — “The Life & Music of Sammy Davis, Jr.” at 7pm on ZOOM. Explore the life and music of one of America’s greatest entertainers, Sammy Davis, Jr. Led by Clint Edwards, a New York-based composer, arranger, and pianist, who lectures on the history of music. Barks & Books at Tewksbury Library
The Tewksbury Public Library (300 Chandler Street) is hosting its weekly Barks & Books with service dog Benny from 4:30pm to 5:30pm in the Activities Room. Children (especially those struggling with reading) are invited to sign up for a one-on-one, 15-minute session to read to Benny. Bring your own book or borrow one from the library. This is a great way for children to build literacy confidence and fluency with a non-judgmental canine reading partner. Register HERE.
Arts & Crafts + Exercise Classes At Tewksbury Senior Center
The Tewksbury Senior Center (175 Chandler Street) is hosting several arts & crafts and exercise classes today:
- Bone Building (8:15am)
- Healthy Living Weight Loss Support (8:45am)
- Wood Carving (9:30am)
- Piecemakers Quilters for Charity (11am)
- Bingo (12:45pm)
- Independent Painting (1pm)
- Fit For All (4:30pm)
Most fitness/wellness class fees are paid either by the month OR by purchasing a punch card. Punch card cost is $35 and allows seniors to attend 10 classes of their choice. Cards can be purchased in the Senior Center’s Office. Seniors may drop in to try any of the fitness/wellness classes for FREE. Please note Bone Builders classes and the Cardio Drumming class are grant-funded with no cost to participants but do require registration to participate. ALSO TODAY AT THE SENIOR CENTER: The Bereavement Support Group will hold its monthly meeting at 10am.

Taco Tuesdays at Oscar’s Pinatas
Oscar’s Pinatas (346 Main Street) is holding its weekly Taco Tuesday special. Customers can enjoy 99 cent tacos. Dine-in only. The restaurant also offers free karaoke every night from 9pm to 12:45am.
