Toiletries Drive for the Glennis Sheehan Recovery Home for Women

Time for the 4th Annual Toiletry Drive sponsored by TDTC

The Tewksbury Democratic Town Committee is proud to, once again, launch a community-wide Women’s Toiletries Drive to benefit Glennis Sheehan Recovery Home, a local residence dedicated to helping women rebuild their lives through recovery, stability, and support.

The drive aims to collect essential hygiene and personal care items to ensure the women at the home have the basic necessities they need while they focus on healing and rebuilding. Many arrive with very few belongings, and donations directly help restore dignity and comfort during their recovery journey.

“The Tewksbury Public Library is proud to serve as a collection site for such an important cause,” said Cathy Dwyer, Chairperson TDTC. “Together, we can give the women at the Glennis Sheehan Recovery Home the essentials they need, as they work toward a brighter future.”

All collected items will be delivered directly to Glennis Sheehan Home, where they will be distributed to current residents and future women entering the program.

Tewksbury Community residents are encouraged to donate new, unopened toiletries or contribute financially to assist with bulk supply purchases. Monetary donations can be made at TDTC2025ToiletryDrive and the committee will purchase gift cards and other supplies for the facility.
