Marlborough Labor Day Festival & Parade

Marlborough’s festival kicks off this Sunday from 12 PM–5 PM on Main Street. Expect food trucks, live music, vendors, and kids’ activities—great for families. Their parade is held on Labor Day Monday, starting at 12 PM, featuring marching bands, floats, performers, and community groups.

King Richard’s Faire

Apple Picking & Farm Fun at These Local Orchards!

Labor Day weekend is the perfect time to usher in the fall season with a trip to one of Massachusetts’ charming orchards. Whether you’re looking to pick your own apples, enjoy live music, or simply soak in the festive farm atmosphere, there are plenty of great options to choose from.

Smolak Farms in North Andover is going all out this weekend with its End of Summer Luau. In addition to its popular pick-your-own apple offerings, the farm will feature live music, fresh cider donuts, seasonal drinks, and daily kids’ activities—including face painting, spin art frisbee, cow train rides, hayrides, and feeding the animals (note: the cow train is available on Saturday only). With a farm stand open daily from 7 AM–6 PM and concessions and bar service from 11 AM–3 PM, it’s a festive way to send off summer in luau style.

Parlee Farms will also be open for apple picking and hayrides throughout the weekend, offering fresh farm stand treats and a classic New England farm experience—perfect for families looking to enjoy a scenic and tasty outing on Labor Day.
