The Thomas E. Smith Foundation Presents Stepping Forward Together Award to Colin Heneghan at Annual Golf Tournament & Summit

Tewksbury resident Colin Heneghan has been recognized with the Stepping Forward Together Award for his efforts in transforming the lives of individuals impacted by spinal cord injuries.

Andover, MA – June 3, 2025 – The Thomas E. Smith Foundation (TESF) proudly presented its second annual Stepping Forward Together Award on June 2, 2025, to longtime supporter and advocate Colin Heneghan of Tewksbury, Massachusetts, during the Foundation’s 15th Annual Golf Tournament & Summit.

This award honors individuals and organizations who have gone above and beyond in supporting people with spinal cord injuries and those living with paralysis. It recognizes those who are helping TESF redefine possible through awareness building, fundraising, and a commitment to bettering lives.

For the past seven years, Colin has demonstrated unwavering dedication to the mission of TESF. Colin has created and led an annual Boston Bruins Alumni Game to benefit the foundation, raising more than $350,000 to support the Foundation’s programs—funding to bridge gaps in care and elevate the quality of life for countless individuals.
