Tewksbury Public Schools Ginsburg & Polimeno Awards

Tewksbury Public Schools is seeking nominations for the 2025 Annual Krissy Polimeno Outstanding Educator Award and Ginsburg Family Award.

The Tewksbury Public Schools is seeking nominations for the 2025 Annual Krissy Polimeno Outstanding Educator Award to recognize an individual who has had a significant impact on a Tewksbury school or the district. The award will be given annually to honor an individual educator in the area of active involvement, volunteering, and giving a generous amount of time and energy to the quality of the educational system as an advocate for students in the Tewksbury Public Schools. Criteria includes leadership, special action and inspiration as a role model to peers and students. Polimeno Nomination Form.

The Krissy Polimeno Outstanding Educator Award was first presented by the School Committee in 2019 to Krissy Polimeno and will be given out to an individual that is notable for their great contributions of charity, leadership, volunteering and service to the schools of Tewksbury. Past recipients include Krissy Polimeno, Scott Callanan, TMHS Social Studies Teacher; Center Elementary School Principal Jay Harding and Assistant Principal Robert Rogers; Graça Dudley, TMHS Spanish Teacher; and Sue Hogan, Ryan Elementary School, Special Education Case Manager.

The deadline for nominations is April 11, 2025. A brief narrative with the application is encouraged.

The Ginsburg Family Award is named for the well-known charitable family, Marc & Leisa Ginsburg, and is given out to an individual or organization that is notable for their great contributions of charity and service to the schools of Tewksbury. Past recipients include the Ginsburg Family, the Tewksbury Rotary Club, the Phil French family, the Tewksbury Education Foundation, Larry & Sandy Polimeno, the Wamesit Lanes (MacLaren family), and Donna’s Donuts (Wilson family), TMHS Best Buddies, Holt & Bugbee Foundation, and the Corning Foundation.
