Wynn Middle School Drama Club Presents “The Lightning Thief”
The Wynn Middle School Drama Club presents “The Lightning Thief” (Theatre For Young Adults edition) this Friday, December 13, 2024 at 7pm; Saturday, December 14, 2024 at 7pm; and Sunday, December 15, 2024 at 2pm. General admission costs $10. Students/seniors cost $5. Tickets will be on sale at the door. Cash or check (payable to Wynn Middle School) only.
Santa Social at Krochmal Farms
Krochmal Farms (31 Jennies Way) is holding a Santa Social from 4:30pm to 7:30pm. This unforgettable Christmas event features a delightful horse-drawn wagon ride pulled by two magical draft horses as you journey to a cozy bonfire where Santa Claus awaits your visit. Cherish your children’s wonder and amazement to, not just sit on the Big Guy’s lap, but to have an actual conversation with him. Each group will receive a s’mores kit for 10 and unlimited hot chocolate to warm you up while you roast marshmallows and indulge in the holiday spirit. Afternoon Film Screening (“White Bird”) at Tewksbury Library
The Tewksbury Public Library (300 Chandler Street) is holding a film screening of “White Bird” at 1:30pm. Struggling to fit in at his new school after being expelled, Julian is visited by his grandmother and is transformed by the story of her attempts to escape Nazi-occupied France during World War II. Please note this is a sequel to the 2017 film, “Wonder,” but you will still enjoy “White Bird” without having seen “Wonder.” Starring Helen Mirren, Gillian Anderson, Ariella Glaser and Orlando Schwerdt. Library Virtual Lecture: Armchair Travel To Greece (Corfu) With The Traveling Librarian
The Tewksbury Public Library (300 Chandler Street) is holding a webinar — “Armchair Travel To Greece (Corfu) With The Traveling Librarian” — at 2pm on ZOOM. Join Jeff Klapes, the Traveling Librarian, for his newest armchair travel presentation. This series highlights travel photography and stories and travel tips about destinations around the world. Weekly Bingo Night at St. Williams Church

3 Fitness Classes at Tewksbury Senior Center
The Tewksbury Senior Center (175 Chandler Street) is hosting 3 fitness/wellness classes today:
- Walking Club (8:30am)
- Bone Builders (9:30am)
- Meditation (11am)
Most fitness/wellness class fees are paid either by the month OR by purchasing a punch card. Punch card cost is $35 and allows seniors to attend 10 classes of their choice. Cards can be purchased in the Senior Center’s Office. Seniors may drop in to try any of the fitness/wellness classes for FREE. Please note Bone Builders classes and the Cardio Drumming class are grant-funded with no cost to participants but do require registration to participate. Call the Senior Center at 978-640-4480 with any questions.
ALSO TODAY AT THE SENIOR CENTER: The Friends of the Elderly will be holding their annual Christmas Party at 6pm. Tickets must have been purchased by December 9, 2024.
