Santa Social at Krochmal Farms
Krochmal Farms (31 Jennies Way) is holding a Santa Social from 3pm to 6pm. This unforgettable Christmas event features a delightful horse-drawn wagon ride pulled by two magical draft horses as you journey to a cozy bonfire where Santa Claus awaits your visit. Cherish your children’s wonder and amazement to, not just sit on the Big Guy’s lap, but to have an actual conversation with him. Each group will receive a s’mores kit for 10 and unlimited hot chocolate to warm you up while you roast marshmallows and indulge in the holiday spirit. Brunch & Board Games for 20’s and 30’s at Tewksbury Library
Library patrons in their 20’s and 30’s are invited to join the Tewksbury Public Library (300 Chandler Street) on Saturday morning (10:30am-1:30pm) for a light brunch and fun board games in the meeting room. Film Screening of ‘Philadelphia’ with Public Health Museum at Tewksbury Library
The Tewksbury Public Library (300 Chandler Street) is hosting a special film screening of “Philadelphia” at 5:30pm in its Meeting Room. When a man with HIV is fired by his law firm because of his condition, he hires a homophobic small-time lawyer as the only willing advocate for a wrongful dismissal suit. Starring Tom Hanks and Denzel Washington. Legal Drama. Rated PG-13. 2 hours, 5 minutes. Doors will open at 5:15pm. Candy & water will be served. After the film, stick around for a Q&A about HIV with Dr. Alfred DeMaria, former Medical Director of the Bureau of Infectious Disease in the Massachusetts Department of Public Health and State Epidemiologist. Holiday Luncheon For Veterans at Senior Center
The Tewksbury Veterans Services Department is holding its annual Holiday Luncheon for veterans and surviving spouses at 1pm at the Tewksbury Senior Center (175 Chandler Street). Registration closed on December 4.
Public Health Museum Tours
The Public Health Museum, located on the grounds of the Tewksbury Hospital (365 East Steet), is open from 10am to 2pm. A hospital campus walking tour will take place at 10:30am. Tours of the museum are also scheduled for 11:30am. Register for any of the tours HERE. The Museum is a non-profit educational and cultural museum, with a mission to strive to preserve records and artifacts from America’s public health history; educate the public about the achievements and contributions of public health; and inspire people to build upon the past and continue to advance the future of public health.
Live Music @ TJ Callahan’s Pub
TJ Callahan’s Pub (1475 Main Street) is offering live music from the band “6 Ways To Sunday” beginning at 9pm.
