Holiday Craft Fair at Tewksbury-Wilmington Elks Lodge

The Tewksbury-Wilmington Elks is holding a Holiday Craft Fair from 11am to 4pm at its Lodge (777 South Street).  In addition to crafters and vendors, shoppers will have an opportunity to meet Santa and take their chance on raffles to benefit the Thanksgiving Dinners the Elks provide to the seniors of Wilmington and Tewksbury. 

Dancing & Celebrity Impressionist Singer at Tewksbury Knights of Columbus

The Tewksbury Knights of Columbus is holding Dancing and Live Entertainment from 7pm to 11pm at its Hall (2068 Main Street). The event will feature DJ Zati and Celebrity Impressionist Dave Barbuto. Barbuto will sing the songs of and sounds like all your favorite singers, including Neil Diamond, Johnny Cash, The Bee Gees, Dean Martin, Frank Sinatra, Toby Keith, George Strait, Willie Nelson, Jimmy Buffet, Waylon Jennings, The Beatles, The Temptations, Elvis Presley, The Stylistics, Barry White, Michael Buble and many more. Tickets cost $25 at the door. Bring your own snacks. Raffle table & 50/50.

Whalemobile Visits at Tewksbury Library

The Tewksbury Public Library (300 Chandler Street) is hosting the Whalemobile from 10am to noon in the library’s first-floor Meeting Room. Go inside Nile, the life-sized inflatable humpback whale, and learn about how whales and humans are similar and different, and have a chance to touch baleen, teeth, and bones. There will also be another station set up that you can interact with, play games, or color pictures. Patrons can register for 30-minute appointments. Learn more & register HERE.

“Finding Home: An Afghan Family’s Resettlement To Lowell” at Tewksbury Library

The Tewksbury Public Library (300 Chandler Street) is hosting “Finding Home — An Afghan Family’s Resettlement To Lowell” at 2:30pm in its Meeting Room. Scot Langdon, a former filmmaking teacher at Tewksbury High School and local visual journalist & commercial photographer, began a personal project in September 2021 to photograph an Afghan family’s resettlement to Lowell from a Taliban-controlled Afghanistan. The series of powerful black and white images focuses on the family, and specifically, the father Zardad, and his path through English tutoring and opening a bank account, to interviewing for employment and settling into life in America. The photography project, titled “Finding Home,” is on display on the second floor of the Library from November 5, 2024 through December 30, 2024. A presentation and discussion with Langdon about his photography project will take place on Saturday, November 16 at 2:30pm. Light refreshments will be served. Learn more & register HERE.

Public Health Museum Tours

The Public Health Museum, located on the grounds of the Tewksbury Hospital (365 East Steet), is open from 10am to 2pm. A hospital campus walking tour will take place at 10:30am. Tours of the museum are also scheduled for 11:30am. Register for any of the tours HERE. The Museum is a non-profit educational and cultural museum, with a mission to strive to preserve records and artifacts from America’s public health history; educate the public about the achievements and contributions of public health; and inspire people to build upon the past and continue to advance the future of public health.

Tewksbury Community Pantry Open For Food Distribution

The Tewksbury Community Pantry (999 Whipple Road) is open for food distribution from 10am to 11am. Tewksbury residents experiencing food insecurity are invited to apply HERE. Pantry clients will receive a pre-packaged box of food and an additional bag of food provided by the USDA. Meat and cheese are distributed when available.

Live Music @ TJ Callahan’s Pub

TJ Callahan’s Pub (1475 Main Street) is offering live music from the band Diezel beginning at 8:30pm.
