Acts of kindness with coffee and donuts here in Tewksbury.
In recognition of World Kindness Day, customers at Donna’s Donuts were treated to coffee and a snack on Wednesday morning, courtesy of Tewksbury Federal Credit Union. Credit union manager Maureen Montecalvo, along with Lisa Jones and Caroline Mitiaev, was at the shop bright and early to hand-out $5 gift cards as customers entered Donna’s Donuts. Gift cards were only good for Wednesday, but this small act turned an everyday coffee visit into a memorable act of kindness that customers are sure to appreciate and remember.
Community outreach programs like this, not only benefit individual businesses, but also strengthen the entire community. Both Donna’s Donuts and the TFCU are two businesses that are invested in our town and both give Tewksbury a true feeling of community and great pride.
