Conservation Commission Meeting

The Tewksbury Conservation Commission meets at 6:30pm at Tewksbury Town Hall (1009 Main Street). Read the agenda HERE. The Commission will vote on seven requests for certificates of compliance, conduct one public hearing; and review an emergency certificate. The meeting is open to the public. The meeting will also be televised on Comcast (Ch. 6) and Verizon (Ch. 33) and streamed on the Town’s YouTube channel.

Armchair Detectives Mystery Book Group Meeting at Tewksbury Library

The Tewksbury Public Library is holding the monthly meeting of its Armchair Detectives Mystery Book Group at 1:30pm in the first-floor meeting room. The group is discussing The Curse of the Pharaoh by Elizabeth Peters. Learn more HERE.

50+ Job Seekers Networking Group Virtual Meeting

The Tewksbury Public Library (300 Chandler Street) is hosting the bi-monthly meeting of the 50+ Job Seekers Networking Group from 9:30am to 11:30am via ZOOM. weekly meeting of its Tewksbury Job Seekers Networking Group at 2pm via ZOOM. Meetings include a presentation and interactive workshop on topics relevant to career transition, guest speakers, access to hiring managers, small group breakout rooms to network, and 1-on-1 coaching guidance. Teen Tech Take Apart at Tewksbury Library

The Tewksbury Public Library is holding a Tech Take Apart event for teens in Grades 6-12 at 4pm. Want to learn how things work? Take them apart and put them back together? Teens will be provided with no longer used tech and screwdrivers to explore how they work. Learn more & register HERE.

Library Virtual Lecture: The Orphan Train Movement — History, Genealogy & Legacy

The Tewksbury Public Library is hosting a virtual lecture — “The Orphan Train Movement — History, Genealogy & Legacy” — at 7pm via ZOOM. Orphan Trains, which operated in the United States between 1854 and 1929, transported 200,000+ children from New York to the Midwest and beyond. Through oral history and genealogy research – with ongoing, diligent care of the unique records – over two million descendants live on to tell the stories of this uniquely American movement. Learn about the history, genealogy, and legacy of this movement. Barks & Books at Tewksbury Library

The Tewksbury Public Library (300 Chandler Street) is hosting its weekly Barks & Books with service dog Misty from 4pm to 5pm in the Activities Room. Children (especially those struggling with reading) are invited to sign up for a one-on-one, 15-minute session to read to Misty. Bring your own book or borrow one from the library. This is a great way for children to build literacy confidence and fluency with a non-judgmental canine reading partner. Register HERE.

Ryan School PAC Fundraiser at Donna’s Donuts

The Ryan School PAC is holding a fundraiser atĀ Donna’s Donuts (2106 Main Street) from 11am to 6pm. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the PAC.

Tewksbury Garden Club Fundraiser at Kyoto

The Tewksbury Garden Club is holding a fundraiser atĀ Kyoto Japanese Steak House (1487 Main Street) rom 11:30am to 9:30pm. Dine-in only. Present this flyer and 15% of your sales will be donated to the Garden Club.

TMHS Theater Company Fundraiser at Wicked Cheesy

The Tewksbury High School’s Theater Company is holding a fundraiser at Wicked Cheesy (1079 Main Street) on Monday, November 4; Tuesday, November 5; and Wednesday, November 6, from 10am to 9pm. 15% of the proceeds will benefit the TMHS Theater Company if you mention or show this flyer.
