Tewksbury Together Donation Drive Across From Library

Tewksbury Together, a newly-formed Tewksbury non-profit, is holding a Donation Drive, from 11am to 3pm, in the field across from the Tewksbury Public Library (300 Chandler Street).

Tewksbury Together is a community service organization focused on energetic, family-based community service and outreach which supports Tewksbury. The organization is collecting the following during its Donation Drive:

  • Leftover Halloween Candy to be distributed to Tewksbury State Hospital staff and patients
  • Pet Food/Pet Supplies (especially dry cat food and cat littler) to be distributed to the Wilmington Animal Food Pantry, which supports Tewksbury residents
  • Non-Perishable Food to be distributed to the Tewksbury Community Pantry

 

Tewksbury Lions Club’s Princess Harvest Ball at Tewksbury-Wilmington Elks Lodge

The Tewksbury Lions Club presents its 3rd Annual Princess Harvest Ball from 1pm to 5pm at the Tewksbury-Wilmington Elks Lodge (777 South Street). PreK-Grade 2 session runs from 1pm to 2:30pm. Grades 3-5 session runs from 3:30pm to 5pm.

Tickets cost $20. Ticket sales on Eventbrite have closed. Email PrincessHarvestBall[at]gmail.com with questions about tickets or the event.

This magical event will include a DJ, Pizza, Cookies, a Carnation for each Princess, and Photo Op Stations. Put on your finest attire and enjoy an afternoon filled with music, dancing, laughter and lots of fun. Cash bar is available. 

Free CPR/AED Training at Tewksbury Police Department

The Tewksbury Police Department will be hosting a free civilian CPR class from 9am to noon in the Training Room at the Police Station (918 Main Street). Registration is required, and space is limited. Register HERE. Attendees must be 16 years of age or older. Email jwilliamspat[tewksbury-ma.gov with any questions.

Community Open House at Shawsheen Tech

Shawsheen Valley Technical High School (100 Cook Street, Billerica) invites Tewksbury residents to its Annual Open House from 2pm to 4pm. This event is open to prospective students, alumni, business partners, families, and friends, offering everyone a chance to explore the opportunities available at the school.

The Open House will be a comprehensive showcase of Shawsheen’s extensive academic and vocational-technical programs, including its athletic teams and extracurricular clubs and organizations. Visitors will experience interactive demonstrations from various academic and technical programs, as well as a chance to explore the campus on self-guided or student-led tours.

Information about the school’s Adult Education, the School of Practical Nursing, Summer Enrichment programs, 7th-grade Project Explore, and the aquatics program will also be available.
