Tewksbury Rod & Gun Club’s Annual Turkey Shoot

The Tewksbury Rod & Gun Club (67 Chandler Street) is holding its Annual Turkey Shoot from 9am to noon.Ā The fee is $5 per round. Each round has a total of 15 targets. 3 shots per station, with 5 stations total. Ammo is NOT supplied. Every entry gets one ticket in the turkey raffle. Yellow targets hit earn an extra ticket in the turkey raffle.

Doubles Royale Tournament at Action Games Paintball

Action Games Paintball (1079 South Street) presents a ā€œDoubles Royaleā€ Tournament beginning at 10am.Ā  32 duos will compete in a survival-based, 5-stage tournament. At the start of each stage, the duos will be assigned to play for either the Red Team or the Blue Team. Red and Blue will then fight a multi-game set. All of the duos on the winning team, Red or Blue, advance to the next stage. The 2 player team entry fee is $80, with additional extras and upgrades available. Learn more and enter HERE. Tewksbury Youth Skating’s Learn To Skate & Learn To Play Programs Begin Today

Tewksbury Youth Skating‘s Fall Learn to Skate and Learn to Play programs begins today. The Fall sessions are held on Saturdays at the Janas Memorial Rink in Lowell (382 Douglas Road). The sessions start on November 2, 2024 and run through Saturday, March 15, 2024. Learn to Skate sessions run from 5pm to 6pm. Learn to Play sessions run from 6pm to 7pm. The 20 sessions cost $250. Library Virtual Lecture: How To Survive In Tudor England

TheĀ Tewksbury Public Library (300 Chandler Street) is holding a webinar (ā€œHow To Survive In Tudor Englandā€) at 10am via ZOOM. Author Toni Mount will discuss her new book, How to Survive in Tudor England, a handy self-help guide with tips and suggestions to make your time-traveling visit to the 16th century much more fun. Public Health Museum Tours

The Public Health Museum, located on the grounds of the Tewksbury Hospital (365 East Steet), is open from 10am to 2pm. A hospital campus walking tour will take place at 10:30am. Tours of the museum are also scheduled for 11:30am. Register for any of the tours HERE. The Museum is a non-profit educational and cultural museum, with a mission to strive to preserve records and artifacts from America’s public health history; educate the public about the achievements and contributions of public health; and inspire people to build upon the past and continue to advance the future of public health.

Live Music @ TJ Callahan’s Pub

TJ Callahan’s Pub (1475 Main Street) is offering live music from A Little Bit Shaggy beginning at 9pm. The band promises a fun evening of classic rock.

Shawsheen Tech’s SkillsUSA Chapter Holding Toys For Tots Drive

The Shawsheen Tech’s SkillsUSA Chapter is holding its annual Toys For Tots Drive from November 1, 2024 through December 8, 2024. New unwrapped toys can be dropped in the donation boxes at the school’s main entrance (100 Cook Street, Billerica). The Drive collected 385 toys last year.

New Displays at Tewksbury Public Library

The Tewksbury Public Library invites local organizations and residents to submit exhibits of local, cultural, artistic, and educational interest for temporary display in its lobby display cases. For the month of November, resident Brenda Pachucki is displaying items collected from her world travels, while resident Joan Hoeckele will be showing off her rock collection. UMass Lowell College Radio Reunion

Celebrate over 70 years of UMass Lowell’s underground radio with WLTI, WJUL and WUML alumni, family and friends at the Hilton Garden Inn Tewksbury Andover (94 Highwood Drive). The reception begins at 5:30pm. Dinner starts at 6:30pm. Tickets cost $80 per person. A portion of the cost supports the Edward L. Bonacci Memorial Scholarship. Purchase tickets HERE.
