Early Voting at Town Hall

Early in-person voting for the Presidential Election wraps up today from 7:30am to 12:30pm in the Auditorium at Town Hall (1009 Main Street). HERE is what the Town Clerk’s Office wants you to know before you go to vote.

Day of the Dead Story & Celebration at Tewksbury Senior Center

The Tewksbury Senior Center (175 Chandler Street) is hosting a Day of the Dead Story & Celebration from 9:30am to 11am. Tickets cost $22 per person. In addition to listening to a storyteller, the audience will enjoy Pan de Muerto (Mexican sweet bread), coffee, tea and hot chocolate. 

Weekly Bingo Night at St. Williams Church

St. Williams Church (1351 Main Street) holds a Bingo Night every Friday, beginning at 6:45pm. Players can expect to spend $15-$20 on Bingo sheets. Get a sense of what to expect by reading this May 2024 Town Crier article. Call 978-640-0859 with any questions or for more information.

Baby Story Time at Tewksbury Public Library

The Tewksbury Public Library (300 Chandler Street) is holding a Baby Story Time at 10:15am. Enjoy a fun session of stories, songs, fingerplays, and gentle movement that help build early literacy skills. All of the library’s story times are interactive for children and their caregivers. Library Virtual Lecture: Roosevelt for President (’32, ’36, ’40 & ’44) with the FDR Presidential Library

The Tewksbury Public Library (300 Chandler Street) is holding a webinar (“Roosevelt for President”) at 2pm via ZOOM. President Franklin D. Roosevelt served longer than any American President ever has or will. This session highlights the issues and opponents that FDR faced as he waged, and won, four presidential elections, a feat never before done, nor that will ever be repeated. Led by Jeffrey S. Urbin, Education Specialist at the Roosevelt Presidential Library and Museum. Learn more and register HERE.

3 Fitness Classes at Tewksbury Senior Center

The Tewksbury Senior Center (175 Chandler Street) is hosting 4 fitness/wellness classes today:

  • Walking Club (8:30am)
  • Bone Builders (9:30am)
  • Meditation (11am)

Most fitness/wellness class fees are paid either by the month OR by purchasing a punch card. Punch card cost is $35 and allows seniors to attend 10 classes of their choice. Cards can be purchased in the Senior Center’s Office. Seniors may drop in to try any of the fitness/wellness classes for FREE. Please note Bone Builders classes and the Cardio Drumming class are grant-funded with no cost to participants but do require registration to participate. Call the Senior Center at 978-640-4480 with any questions.

Live Music at TJ Callahan’s Pub

TJ Callahan’s Pub (1475 Main Street) is offering live music with Mixtape Heroz, beginning at 9pm. The band will perform hits from 1970s to today.

Yu-Gi-Oh! Tournament at Batters Up

Batters Up (1830 Main St.) holds a Yu-Gi-Oh! Tournament every Friday night, from 6:30pm to 10pm. The entry fee is $5, which includes an Official Tournament Store (OTS) pack. The Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game is an exciting game of strategy, luck, and skill. Learn how to play HERE.

The following Tewksbury Memorial High School team is in action today:

  • V Football — 6:00pm — vs. North Andover — @ North Andover High School

REMINDER: Winter Parking Ban Begins TODAY

The Town of Tewksbury has a Winter Parking Ban which prohibits on-street parking from midnight to 6am from November 1 through March 31. The ban extends 24/7 when it is snowing or when icy conditions exist. Violators are subject to a fine and towing. Learn more HERE.
