Tewksbury Select Board Meeting

The Tewksbury Select Board meets at 7pm at Town Hall (1009 Main Street). Read the meeting agenda HERE. According to the agenda, the Select Board will be having discussions about: water abatement & water meters; potential reuse of the Trahan School; the retail marijuana application process; request for funding from Tewksbury Affordable Home Build; Special Town Meeting Warrant articles; and Halloween Trick or Treating hours. The meeting is open to the public. The meeting will also be televised on Comcast (Ch. 99) and Verizon (Ch. 33) and streamed on the Town’s YouTube channel.

Tewksbury Library To Hold Read-In On Town Common

Join the community on the Town Common, next to Town Hall (1009 Main Street), to celebrate your freedom to read! Open to all ages, the Tewksbury Public Library is celebrating the community’s right to access and read materials freely by hosting its second annual All Ages Read-In from 11am to 4pm. Bring a book or audiobook of your own or borrow one to enjoy time outside reading on the beautiful Common in the heart of Tewksbury. Bring your own chairs or blankets. Refreshments will be served throughout the day. Stop by for giveaways (while supplies last). Learn more HERE.

Can’t make it during the day? Stop by the library for an in-person All Ages Read-In on the first floor from 6pm to 8pm.

Adult Craft @ Tewksbury Public Library

The Tewksbury Public Library (300 Chandler Street) is holding its monthly Adult Craft Night at 7pm in its first-floor Meeting Room. Enjoy making a craft while socializing with others! This month’s featured craft a pumpkin made from craft supplies. All supplies provided. Led by longtime crafter Rachelle Toth, host of the local access TV show “Crafts ‘n’ Stuff.” While registration is full, there is still room on the Waiting List.

Teen Craft @ Tewksbury Public Library

The Tewksbury Public Library (300 Chandler Street) is holding a Teen Craft at 3:30pm its first-floor Meeting Room. Teens (Grades 6-12) are invited to personalize a tote bag with paint, fabric pens, puffy paint, ribbon, and more. All supplies are provided for free. Learn more and register HERE.

Kids Craft @ Tewksbury Public Library

The Tewksbury Public Library (300 Chandler Street) is holding a Kids Craft at 6pm in the Craft Room. Kids (Grades 4-5) are invited to to make their own perler bead designs. They’ll have 30-45 minutes to create. The last 15-30 minutes will be used to iron their creations into existence! Learn more and register HERE.

Weekly Bingo Night @ Tewksbury-Wilmington Elks Lodge

The Tewksbury-Wilmington Elks holds a Bingo Night every Tuesday night at its Lodge (777 South Street). The Bingo is open to all — not just Elks members. Doors open at 4pm. Game sheet sales begin at 5:45pm. Game begins at 6:45pm. Players may bring snacks. Dinner items (often pizza) is also available to purchase. Coffee, tea and water are free of charge. Weekly Bingo Afternoon @ Tewksbury Senior Center

The Tewksbury Senior Center (175 Chandler Street) holds Bingo every Tuesday afternoon. Players should arrive between 11:30am and 12:20pm, during which time game sheets are available. Bingo begins at 12:45pm. Players may bring a lunch or snacks. The event is run by volunteers with the Golden Age Club.

Weekly Veterans Coffee Social At Tewksbury Senior Center

The Tewksbury Veteran’s Services Department holds a free coffee social every Tuesday at 10am, typically at the Tewksbury Senior Center (175 Chandler Street) in its library/media room. No registration is necessary.

Tewksbury Senior Center’s Swinging Seniors Chorus Group Returns

The Swinging Seniors Chorus Group at the Tewksbury Senior Center (175 Chandler Street) is back with fall rehearsals on Tuesdays from 2pm to 3pm. New members are always welcome. If you enjoy signing and would like to give a little of yourself during the holiday season, the Chorus practices for 8 weeks on Tuesday afternoons in preparation for holiday performances at local senior living facilities and at the Senior Center. No registration required.

Free Blood Pressure Clinic at Bayberry Emerald Court

Bayberry at Emerald Court (2000 Emerald Court) is holding a free Blood Pressure Clinic from 1:30pm to 3pm. Several companies will have information stations, including Caretenders, Immaculate Home Services, Make Pace with Organizing, and The Law Offices of Kimberly Bulter Rainen. This event is open to all Tewksbury residents, not just those living at Emerald Court.

Half Pints Fundraiser At Wicked Cheesy

Wicked Cheesy (1079 Main Street) is holding a fundraiser for Half Pints Learning Center (1563 Main Street) this Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. 20% of proceeds will be donated to the local childcare center when you mention “Half Pints” when placing your order.
