Let Freedom Read! Join TPL for Read-Ins as part of Banned Books Week 2024

TPL is hosting a read-in for all ages during Banned Books Week on September 24th, 2024.

At the Tewksbury Public Library, we believe all members of our community have the right to read what they want. We strive to provide free and open access to stories for all ages and interests. To celebrate the freedom to read all year long, TPL is hosting a read-in for all ages during Banned Books Week.

Join members of your community and celebrate your freedom to read on Tuesday September 24th on the Town Common from 11am to 4pm or on the first floor of TPL from 6pm to 8pm. No registration is required for these events.

Bring a book or audiobook, a blanket or chair, and settle in on the Town Common to catch up on your reading and join community members and library staff for a fun morning. Can’t make it during the day? Stop by from 6pm to 8pm on the first floor of the library, pull up a comfy chair, and enjoy an evening of reading. Light refreshments, giveaways, and raffles available at both events while supplies last.
