Town Manager Screening Committee Meeting
The Tewksbury Town Manager Screening Committee meets at 5pm at Tewksbury Memorial High School (320 Pleasant Street). Read the agenda HERE. A portion of the meeting will be open to the public. The Committee will discuss how it intends on interviewing Town Manager candidates. The Committee will then enter Executive Session (closed to the public) to review candidate resumes and determine which candidates will receive initial screening interviews.
Community Preservation Committee Meeting
The Tewksbury Community Preservation Committee meets at 5:30pm in the first-floor Meeting Room at Tewksbury Town Hall (1009 Main Street). Read the agenda HERE. The CPC will be discussing the Special Town Meeting warrant. The meeting is open to the public.
Conservation Commission Meeting
The Tewksbury Conservation Commission meets at 6:30pm at Tewksbury Town Hall (1009 Main Street). Read the agenda HERE. The Commission will vote on seven requests for certificates of compliance, conduct two public hearings and review an enforcement order. The meeting is open to the public. The meeting will also be televised on Comcast (Ch. 6) and Verizon (Ch. 33) and streamed on the Town’s YouTube channel.
Economic Development Committee Meeting
The Tewksbury Economic Development Committee meets at 6:30pm in the first-floor Meeting Room at Tewksbury Town Hall (1009 Main Street). Read the agenda HERE. The Committee will discuss the creation of a Community Guide, a Business Guide, and a Tewksbury Vision Plan. The meeting is open to the public.
School Committee Committee Meeting
The Tewksbury School Committee meets at 6:30pm in the Large Group Instruction Room at Tewksbury Memorial High School (320 Pleasant Street). An Executive Session (closed to the public) to discuss collective bargaining precedes the public meeting from 5:30pm to 6:30pm. Read the lengthy agenda HERE. Library Virtual Lecture: America’s Spies — Why Do People Betray Their Country?
The Tewksbury Public Library is hosting a virtual lecture — “America’s Spies: Why Do People Betray Their Country?” at 7pm via ZOOM. Retired Army Intelligence and CIA clandestine officer Tom Hofer will delve into the history of espionage in the US, from George Washington’s Culper spy ring to modern times. Hofer will also share stories from his 40 years in the intelligence community, including personal knowledge of two imprisoned American traitors. While no classified information is revealed, you’ll come away with a deeper understanding of what motivates people to spy. Learn more and register HERE.

Tewksbury resident Sandra Garcia, of MSM Crafts, will be holding a Card Making Class at 10:30am at the Tewksbury United Methodist Church (2335 Main Street). The class fee is $20.00, all-inclusive.
