Friday Night Lights: Tewksbury Football Travels To Danvers

Tewksbury High’s Varsity Football Team travels to Danvers High (60 Cabot Road) to battle the Danvers Falcons at 6:30pm. Tickets cost $5 for seniors & students and $7 for adults. Tickets can be purchased online HERE.

Meanwhile, the Redmen field hockey (at TMHS), volleyball (at TMHS) and swimming teams are also all in action. See today’s sports schedule HERE.

Country Line Dancing Fundraiser @ Tewksbury-Wilmington Elks Lodge

Lark New Hampshire Line Dance is holding a Country Line Dance Fundraiser, from 6pm to 10pm, at the Tewksbury-Wilmington Elks Lodge (777 South Street). The event includes one hour of line dance lessons and two hours of open dance. Tickets cost $15 at the door. A cash bar and 50/50 raffle will be available. Proceeds will benefit local veterans in need. Call Jackie at 978-314-7764 with questions. The event is sponsored by the Tewksbury-Wilmington Emblem Club.

Weekly Car Show In Papa Gino’s Parking Lot

Members of the former Merrimack Valley Car Club organize an Antique Car Show on Friday nights, from 4pm to dark, in the Ocean State Job Lot/Papa Gino’s plaza parking lot (553 Main St.).

Weekly Bingo Night At St. Williams Church

Tewksbury Public Library To Hold “Fall Guy” Film Screening

The Tewksbury Public Library (300 Chandler Street) is holding a film screening of Fall Guy at 1:30pm. A stuntman, fresh off an almost career-ending accident, has to track down a missing movie star, solve a conspiracy and try to win back the love of his life while still doing his day job. What could possibly go right? This PG-13 rated film — which has action, comedy, drama and romance — stars Ryan Gosling and Emily Blunt. Candy & water will be served. Crocheting For Homeschool Students @ Tewksbury Public Library

The Tewksbury Public Library (300 Chandler Street) is holding a crochet basics class for homeschool students (ages 11-18) from 10:15am to 12:15pm. The class is part of a series of programs geared towards homeschooled teens. Learn more and register HERE.

4 Fitness Classes @ Tewksbury Senior Center

The Tewksbury Senior Center (175 Chandler Street) is hosting 4 fitness/wellness classes today:

  • Walking Club (8:30am)
  • Bone Builders (9:30am)
  • Meditation (11am)
  • Line Dancing (11am)

Most fitness/wellness class fees are paid either by the month OR by purchasing a punch card. Punch card cost is $35 and allows seniors to attend 10 classes of their choice. Cards can be purchased in the Senior Center’s Office. Seniors may drop in to try any of the fitness/wellness classes for FREE. Please note Bone Builders classes and the Cardio Drumming class are grant-funded with no cost to participants but do require registration to participate. Call the Senior Center at 978-640-4480 with any questions.

Live Music @ TJ Callahan’s Pub

TJ Callahan’s Pub (1475 Main Street) is offering live music with the acoustic/electric band, 3 of 6, beginning at 9pm. 3 of 6 plays hits from the 60’s through today.

Live Music @ Brothers Sports Bar & Grille

Brothers Sports Bar & Grille (553 Main Street) is offering live music with singer and guitarist Claudio Mateo beginning at 8pm.

Yu-Gi-Oh! Tournament @ Batters Up

Batters Up (1830 Main St.) holds a Yu-Gi-Oh! Tournament every Friday night, from 6:30pm to 10pm. The entry fee is $5, which includes an Official Tournament Store (OTS) pack. The Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game is an exciting game of strategy, luck, and skill. Learn how to play HERE.
