TPL School Supply Drive – Grades 6 to 12

Tewksbury Library is collecting school supplies for teen students beginning August 12th through August 26th.

Back to school season is here! Middle and high school students across the community are getting their backpacks ready to take on a brand-new school year and the library is hoping to help make the new year a great one by providing brand new supplies to students in grades 6 to 12.

TPL’s Teen department will host a school supply drive from Monday August 12th to Monday August 26th. Donation boxes will be located on the first floor of the library in the community area and Teen Room.

This supply drive is looking for new and unopened school supplies only. These supplies will be provided to teens in grades 6 to 12 at a forthcoming school supply fair taking place Wednesday September 4th from 4pm to 6pm.

Needed supplies include pens, pencils, highlighters, notebooks, highlighters, erasers, toiletries including deodorant, tissues, pads, and tampons, pencil cases, hand sanitizer, Tide pens, loose leaf paper, pencil sharpeners, three-ring binders, reusable water bottles, flashcards, and backpacks.

Please direct any questions regarding the school supply drive to TPL’s Teen Librarian, Emily Leggat, at eleggat@tewksburypl.org or at 978-640-4490 x279.
