Register to receive a Vote-By-Mail Ballot by August 26th for the upcoming Primary and State Election!
The Secretary of the Commonwealth has mailed vote-by-mail applications to most registered voters in the state by now for the upcoming September 3th Primary and November 5th State Election, but you can also download an application on the town website. Vote-by-mail applications are due by Monday, August 26th at 5:00 pm.
There are three ways to return voted ballots:
- Drop ballots off in the DROP BOX at the Main Entrance of Town Hall (24-7 until 8p.m. on Election Day)
- IN PERSON at the Town Clerk’s Office (Monday, Wednesday, Thursday 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Tuesday 7:30 am to 6:00 pm & Friday 7:30 am to 12:30 pm)
- BY MAIL
(Please note that US Postal delivery services are not consistent and can range from 3 to 11 days. We recommend voters return their ballots in person or in the drop box outside of the town offices to ensure it arrives back to us in time to count.)
TRACK YOUR APPLICATION AND BALLOT:
The drop-box is conveniently located at the Main Entrance to Town Hall (at the rear of the building). The address is 1009 Main Street, Tewksbury, MA 01876. The drop-box will be available 7 days a week, 24 hours a day and will be monitored by a security camera. Town residents can drop ballots off until 8 p.m. on Election Day.
