Two projects are now complete!
The recent July meeting of the Tewksbury Housing authority was called to order with 4 members present. Minutes of the June meeting were approved. After a short discussion, the June invoices were also approved.
Executive Director, Melissa Maniscalco, presented the FY 2023 audit as prepared in accordance with Government Auditing Standards. “There were no audit findings with regard to the prior year financial statements” as reported by the independent auditors EFPR ,CPAs, and PLLC.
All vacancies at Carnation Drive (3) and Delaney Drive (2) will have new residents before the end of July. The Fire Alarm upgrade is now complete, as is the Landscape project on Delaney Drive. Bids have been accepted for kitchen renovations on Pondview, as well as the roof project also on Pondview.
A vote was taken to approve the Capital Fund Program – 5YR Action Plan. This plan includes various projects such as repointing areas of deterioration on brickwork, installation of french drains, window replacements, repairs and painting of balconies and other necessary upgrades.
Carnation Drive residents are looking forward to the next Merrimack Valley Food Bank Market on Thursday August 15 at the Community Center.
The next meeting of the THA will be on Thursday 8/15 at 4pm.
