Town Clerk Sets Voter Registration Session for Special Town Meeting

Residents can drop by Town Hall on Friday until 5 p.m., or before

A voter registration session has been scheduled for Friday, April 26 at the Town Clerk’s  Office, Town Hall, 1009 Main St. Town Clerk Denise Graffeo informs residents who are not registered to vote that this is the final day to register to be eligible to vote at the May 8 Special Town Meeting. 

To be eligible to vote at the Annual Town Meeting on Monday, May 6 and 8, 2024, you must have  registered by March 27, 2024. 

Town Hall will be open from 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on April 26 for voters who wish to register to vote in person. 

Persons who are United States Citizens, residents of Tewksbury, and who will be at least 18 years old  on or before May 8 are eligible to register. Those meeting these qualifications who have a  Massachusetts Driver’s License can submit their registration online at https://www.sec.state.ma.us/ovr/

Those registering by mail should have their form hand-canceled to ensure it is postmarked before the deadline.  

Residents may also register to vote during regular Town Clerk office hours, Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Tuesday 7:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., and Friday 7:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
