What To Know This Easter Week In Tewksbury

The Carnation & Crier Candidate Forums are this week, and join VFW Post 8164 on Friday for National Vietnam War Veterans Day ceremony

We took a swing by Brelundi this weekend to check out progress. There are tables, fixtures and an expansive new parking lot — stocking and striping and they’ll be ready to go. Owner Michael Columba has his common victualler license in hand and describes the eat-in concept as “almost like Chipotle, but Italian food,” plus fresh or frozen individual and family-size takeaway items. In better weather, there will be patio seating at the patio on the near side of the building. The original Waltham Brelundi location is known for arancini, to-go sauces and cannoli.

Notice to rail riders: Starting today, a temporary schedule change on the Lowell Line will begin affecting eight mid-day trains, which will be temporarily eliminated to accommodate construction projects scheduled to conclude in mid-May. Learn more.

Summer camp news: Kids in grades 5 – 12 can take advantage of one-week STEM workshops offered by UMass Lowell, featuring hands-on labs, activities and field trips! Daily breakfast, lunch and supplies included. Learn more.
