All residents, candidates invited on March 26
Dear Fellow Residents,
Inclement weather is not a hindrance to democracy, and the Tewksbury Democratic Town Committee is busily preparing for the upcoming election season. Here are some upcoming dates.
The annual caucus to elect delegates for the June 1, 2024 state convention will be held on Saturday, February 17 at the Town Hall beginning at 10 a.m. All registered Tewksbury Democrats are welcome to attend and participate in the proceedings. There will be an election to send 14 delegates and three alternates to Worcester, where this year’s convention is being held.
Super Tuesday is March 5, and the Tewksbury Democratic Town Committee members will be on the ballot. All 35 candidates would greatly appreciate your vote. Note that you can vote for the full slate by marking the box at the top of the list, or you can vote for individuals. A sample ballot is here.
Finally, on Tuesday, March 26, the committee will host its annual candidates’ night at Luna Rossa restaurant, at 1699 Shawsheen St. All Tewksbury voters and town candidates are invited to attend this event, which will be an informal opportunity to meet and discuss matters of interest prior to the election on April 6. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. Admission is free, but donations are always welcome.
You can connect with the TDTC on our Facebook page or contact us at TewksburyDems@gmail.com.

P.S. Our annual holiday giving drive ends on Friday, February 2, which will be the last pick-up of our collection basket of toiletries at the library to benefit Alternative House. We have delivered at least 10 shopping bags of donations to date, thanks to your participation. You may still donate online or at Amazon (see below).
