Partners for Youth with Disabilities Offers Free Improv Program In Burlington

Open to youth 14 and up

Non-profit Partners for Youth with Disabilities (PYD), which is based in Boston, offers an Access to Arts (ATA) program that strives to remove the barriers young people with disabilities face in accessing arts education and materials.

This spring, PYD will host a free after-school program at Riverside Family Support Center in Burlington. Youth will practice their skills in acting, improvisation and theatre through fun, interactive activities.

This is a great opportunity for youth with disabilities to make friends and express themselves in an inclusive, creative environment.

The program will run Wednesdays from 4 – 6 p.m. from February through May and is open to youth ages 14-22, with or without a disability. No experience in theatre/acting is required. While the program is free, transportation not provided.

Interested families can SIGN UP HERE, or anyone interested in sponsoring, providing financial support, or exploring partnership opportunities for the Access to Arts Programs can contact PYD at development@pyd.org.
