Shawsheen Tech ‘Project Explore’ Registration Now Available

Fall open house will be Nov. 5

Shawsheen Valley Technical High School has opened registration for its annual free Project Explore after-school program, which is open to 7th grade students. Tewksbury’s dates are Jan. 30 and Feb. 1, 6, 8, 13 and 15.

For three weeks, interested students from Tewksbury and other towns served by the school can attend a twice-weekly exploration of six of the 20 vocational programs offered by Shawsheen Tech. Bus transportation is provided from each sending middle school, as well as to a bus stop near the attendee’s home at the end of each day.

The 2024 Project Explore season season will likely feature the following programs: Autobody, Automotive, Bakery, Carpentry, Cosmetology, Culinary, Dental, Electrical, Electronics, Graphic Arts, Health Assisting, Metal Fabrication, and Plumbing.

Applications are also open for 8th graders interested in attending Shawsheen for high school. Admission criteria are here, along with the link to apply.
