Deadline Set for Voter Registration for Oct. 3 Special Town Meeting

This Friday is the last day to register

Town Clerk Denise Graffeo informs residents who are not registered to vote that this Friday, Sept. 22 is the final day to register to be eligible to vote at the October 3, 2023 Special Town Meeting. 

A voter registration session has been scheduled for Friday at the Town Clerk’s office. Town Hall will be open from 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Friday for voters who wish to register to vote in person.

Persons who are United States citizens, residents of Tewksbury, and who will be at least 18  years old on or before October 3 are eligible to register. Those meeting these qualifications who have a Massachusetts driver’s license can submit their registrations online at www.RegisterToVoteMA.com 

Mail-in voter registration forms may be obtained here. Those registering by mail should have their forms hand-canceled to ensure they are postmarked before the deadline.  

Residents may also register to vote during regular Town Clerk office hours: Monday, Wednesday & Thursday 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. or Tuesday 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Normal Friday hours are 7:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
