TPD Warns Residents of Scam, Tewksbury Community Market Canceled Due to Heat

If you see a hang tag like the one above, let the police know

The Tewksbury Police Department has responded to a scam multiple times in the past few days, where an unknown individual will place a tag on the door of a residence. This tag provides a contact number that when called, will return an automatic response claiming to be “Bank Of America.” Someone will ask for your account information. Do not give it! This tag and phone number have been associated with multiple types of scams. Please be on the lookout and if you see anything suspicious, contact the Police Department.

Market Canceled

A message from organizers: Due to the heat advisory, for the safety of our vendors, shoppers and volunteers, the Tewksbury Community Market will be CLOSED this afternoon. It’s going to feel like 99 degrees! Please STAY COOL today and we’ll see you on September 14, September 21 and September 28 for our final three markets of the season.
